We are delighted to announce that Church Services shall resume from the 27th of September. However they will be a little different in that there will be no singing and masks must be worn. In order to adhere to government guidelines of Test and Protect we are asking people to ‘book their seat’ this is easy following the link below. The Session have also agreed a protocol for the Elders and helpers to follow on Sunday. This can be seen under the tab "notices" Unfortunately we are limited to 40 places because of social distancing so it’s on a first come first served basis.

Based on Scottish Government guidance, places of worship can reopen in Scotland from 15 July, but with strict restrictions and increased safety measures in place. As it stands, physical distancing is still required and singing is not permitted. The Scottish Government has put a cap of 50 people being allowed in a building. Meetings are taking place to discuss the implications of reopening our church for restricted worship. Before opening the church the Kirk Session has to agree to the new policies, procedures and safety measures that need to be put in place to make sure that Dalbeattie & Kirkgunzeon Church is a safe place to hold the new style of services.
will be held on Sunday 27 September 2020 at 11.00 am
