First Responders group has provided a defibrillator for the church and the church has provided funding for mounting the defib on the wall of the church centre.

When word got around that the Fellowship Group had taken up the challenge to make a poppy fall for the 100th Anniversary of WW1, the jungle drums and grapevine went into overdrive. The feeling of wanting to be part of this, once in a life time project, appealed to many women and soon, beautifully knitted, crocheted and felt poppies, were arriving at church, from not only our local churches but from all over the Stewartry and beyond. Some came with no identification as to the donors, but we knew that they came with much love from guildswomen, friends, and individuals, we felt quite humbled. We would like to thank you all so much for being with us on this memorable journey. We had well nigh on 2 thousand poppies. The next step was to sew them to a net, which as you can imagine was quite a task. However, with a small team of volunteers, we rose to the occasion and completed the fall before the due date. It measured 7 wide by 16 foot long.

DALBEATTIE TREE OF HEAVEN 2018
We light a light to remember a loved one, including a friend or relative, and any donations given are then distributed among local charities
You can buy as many lights as you wish and donations will be accepted up to Sunday, 30th December. Leaflets have been distributed to all households in the town. Name cards will be displayed at the back of the Parish Church together with extra leaflets and a donations box.
